When is my booking confirmed?

 

When you pay with a credit/debit card, a confirmation page loads when you complete the booking process. A copy of your itinerary will be sent to you via e-mail. 

If you have not received the confirmation e-mail (Itinerary) please check your e-mail filter settings and any mailboxes that hold filtered mail.

What should I do if two passengers within one reservation have the same name (e.g. Father and son)?

 

Please add "Jr" (meaning junior) after the younger passenger's last name, so that the system will allow you to book the flight. 

Example: 1. Falcao / Chris; 2. Falcao Jr / Chris

Can I add additional services to my ticket?

 

Passengers who have purchased tickets can also enter their reservation number (PNR) and surname in the "My Bookings" section on the freebirdairlines.com home page to select the desired additional services.

Can I correct the names once they are completed?

 

You can change any of them according to the name-change rules.

What should I do if my credit card was rejected?

 

Make sure that you have the funds to cover the full amount. If the problem persists, please contact your bank and check if online payment services are available with your card or if there is a purchase limit.

How many kilograms is my baggage allowance?

 

Passengers are entitled to travel with clearly indicated on the waybill free of charge (the ticket or any such other waybill issued otherwise). Carriage of any baggage that is in excess of the baggage allowance granted for the passengers, or of any special baggage shall be subject to a surcharge. Excess baggage allowance or special baggage (golf bags, etc.) allowance may be purchased through the website of Freebird Airlines.

Can I purchase excess baggage prior to my flight?

 

It is possible to travel with a lot of luggage. You can always add an additional bag to your booking through our website or the Freebird Service Center prior to your flight.

How much fee is charged for excess baggage or excess weight?

 

If your baggage exceeds the mentioned limit in the way-bill, you will be charged at the counter for each kilo.

Can I shop from duty-free on board the aircraft?

 

We have duty-free sales on board the aircraft depending on the destination. We offer you an attractive shopping experience with various payment methods (either in cash or by credit card).

Can I purchase food and drinks on board the aircraft?

 

Yes, various food and drink options can be purchased at low prices on Freebird Airlines flights. Fresh sandwiches, tasty snacks, hot and cold drinks – the choice is yours!

Can I cancel, change or refund the additional services I purchased?

 

Cancellation is not allowed. Refunds are not issued for canceled, change, or any additional services unless the flight is canceled.

Can I carry Liquid in my cabin bag?

 

Liquids carried in cabin baggage are subject to the following government-imposed restrictions: In accordance with applicable regulations, on all flights, liquids, pressurized containers (e.g. sprays), pastes, lotions, and other gel-type substances are only allowed to be carried in hand luggage up to a maximum of 100 ml per packaging unit, which is determined by the quantity printed on the pack.
You will be required to dispose of the liquids which do not meet the above requirements at the airport security station.

What items may not be carried in hand baggage at Freebird?

 

For security reasons, the following items are prohibited in the cabin:

  • Toy or dummy weapons (plastic or metal)
  • Petrol lighters Nail files (paper versions are allowed)
  • Catapults
  • Cutlery
  • Knives with blades longer than 6 cm
  • Razor blades
  • Tools
  • Darts
  • Scissors with a blade length of more than 6 cm, measured from the pivot point
  • Syringes (can only be carried with an official medical doctor report)
  • Knitting needles
  • Billiard, snooker, or pool cues
  • Devices that contain liquid oxygen
  • Explosive and flammable items

How can I report a baggage delay/baggage loss?

 

Please keep all your flight documents, especially your boarding pass and the baggage tag, and wait until all the baggage has been delivered at the baggage carousel. If your baggage does not arrive, report your delayed baggage immediately at the lost & found office whom Freebird collaborated in the arrival area of your destination airport. Our handling agent will give you a report regarding the delay of your baggage, which can be used for insurance and claim purposes if necessary.

I forgot my belongings on board. Who should I contact?

 

Please immediately contact the Lost & Found offices at both of the departure and arrival airports.

How can I receive special assistance?

 

Freebird Airlines gives priority to the transportation of people with disabilities and their accompanying person. In order to improve the travel experiences of our passengers with disabilities/reduced mobility, we kindly ask them to contact us by e-mail at [email protected]

I am Diabetic. Can I take insulin on board?

 

Yes, you can take insulin on board, but please note that we can not provide a refrigerator bag. You can take your own device and bag on board free of charge. You need to carry a medical certificate with you confirming that you need the medicine during your trip. Present this document at the airport security, if required.

My leg is broken. Can I still fly?

 

As long as you can sit, yes, you are allowed to fly. If the broken leg is in plaster you need to submit an official doctor’s report that confirms you are fit to fly and if you cannot bend at the knee then you will be required to purchase an extra seat.

Can I carry my Pet on Freebird Airlines Flights?

 

Pets shall be transported in a suitable, closed, waterproof and secure pet carrier in the cabin. The passenger is responsible for compliance with all relevant requirements relating to vaccination papers, health certificates and any documents required for entry into the destination country. If these requirements are not satisfied or cannot be proved, Freebird Airlines is entitled to refuse carriage of the pet.

When does the check-in counter start to provide the service?

 

The counters are available to provide the required service 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight.

Can I transport my sport equipment?

 

Transport your sporting equipment with Freebird Airlines for an additional sporting equipment fee. You can reach further details on the freebirdairlines.com home page to select the "special baggage" section!

How long do I have to notify the additional services that I preferred?

 

You can reserve your seats up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. You can purchase special baggages, extra weight allowances, order menus and special meals up to 16 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. If you need additional baggage after this period, please contact the Freebird Service Center.
