Quality Standards
Based on our mission to respond to our passengers' needs in the best and shortest possible time, we have been implementing "Quality Management Systems" in all our departments since the day we were established to provide the best service.
Our Quality Management System has been audited by TÜV Anlagentechnic GmbH, the largest international auditing organization based in Cologne, and as a result of these audits, Freebird Airlines has earned the DIN EN ISO Quality Management Certificate applicable to all its units, from cabin service to technical departments. With this achievement, Freebird Airlines has made history by becoming the first airline in Turkey to have all its units certified by TÜV Rheinland with DIN EN ISO 9001:2000.
On March 24, 2006, Freebird Airlines successfully completed the IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) and secured its place among the leading airlines in the world as the first IOSA-certified airline providing charter air transportation in Turkey. This certificate, which documents Freebird's adherence to the highest international standards in flight safety, indicates that our aviation activities have been evaluated by authorized international aviation institutions at high standards. As the first charter air carrier with IOSA certification, this certificate motivates us to work harder to achieve higher safety standards and to serve as a model for other airlines in Turkey.
IOSA is the world's first aviation standard that includes the key elements listed below related to an airline's ability to operate safely: Flight Operations, Operations Control and Flight Dispatch, Aircraft Engineering and Maintenance, Cabin Operations, Aircraft Ground Services, Cargo Operations, and Operational Safety. The IOSA Program is recognized by member airlines of IATA (International Air Transport Association) as a benchmark for airline safety and quality.
