At Freebird Airlines, our Technical Division is committed to maintaining our fleet to the highest standards, ensuring compliance with strict aviation regulations and manufacturer recommendations. Our mission is to guarantee the continuous airworthiness of our aircraft, providing peace of mind for passengers and crew alike.

Our Expertise and Approvals

Our Technical Division holds a CAMO approval under SHY-M Ref: TR-MG-007, demonstrating our adherence to industry best practices. Additionally, we are proud to possess SHY-145 approval from the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation, which is authorized to conduct Airbus A320 series line maintenance, including "A" checks (Authorization Certificate No: TR.145.013).

Our Team

Comprising aeronautical engineers, licensed aircraft technicians, and other skilled staff, our Technical Division boasts decades of collective experience in civil aviation. Each team member is dedicated to upholding the highest safety and reliability standards.

Our Facilities

Based in Istanbul Atatürk Airport, our main facilities house engineering, maintenance, and supply departments, stores, and technical utilities. Additionally, our main maintenance station is strategically located at Antalya Airport, with a line maintenance station at Brussels Airport to support high season operations.

Our Capabilities

Freebird Airlines offers a comprehensive range of maintenance services, including Preflight Checks, Daily Checks, Weekly Checks, A Checks, servicing, LRU and major component replacements, and defect rectification, including minor structural repairs. Equipped with state-of-the-art tools and a sufficient inventory of aircraft parts and consumables, our Technical Division is fully prepared to handle any maintenance task efficiently and effectively.
